How To Create Various Google Adsense Ad Unit

We have earlier read maximum conceded Google Adsense ad unit per page. Now move on to how to create various Google Adsense ad unit for your blog or website. To successfully monetize a blog through Google Adsense you must know the proper placement of an ad unit. Add a link ad unit in the leaderboard may not be a proper implementation of Google Adsense ad unit. In the leaderboard contain 728X90 pixel ad unit placement. So, It will be a good idea to use a 728X90 pixel content ad unit or a responsive ad unit, Which get fit automatically in the available space of the leaderboard area.

How To Create Various Google Adsense Ad Unit


              Here, I have used a word “Responsive ad unit”. Make a note about responsive ad unit. A responsive ad unit gets fit with any screen resolution without any distortion. Means, Your visitor can see the advertisement without cropping a portion of the ad. Make sure you are using a responsive template otherwise your placed ad unit will show as template default space allocation for an ad unit.

              Sign in into Google Adsense and go to My Ads tab to create Google Adsense ad unit. Before creating an ad unit lets look at the size available to create an ad unit.

Content Ad Unit Available Size:


Google Adsense Recommended Size.
1. Automatic size responsive.
2. Leaderboard (728x90) Pixel.
3. Large rectangle (336x280) Pixel.
4. Large mobile banner (320x100) Pixel.
5. Large skyscraper (300x600) Pixel.
6. Medium rectangle (300x250) Pixel

Horizontal Banner:
1. Leaderboard (728x90) Pixel.
2. Large mobile banner (320x100) Pixel.
3. Billboard (970X250) Pixel.
4. Large leaderboard (970X90) Pixel.
5. Banner (468X60) Pixel.
6. Mobile banner (320X50) Pixel.
7. Half banner (234X60) Pixel.

Vertical Banner:
1. Large skyscraper (300x600) Pixel.
2. Potrait (300X1050) Pixel.
3. Wide skyscraper (160X600) Pixel.
4. Skyscraper (120X600) Pixel.
5. Vertical Banner (120X240) Pixel.

Rectangular:
1. Large rectangle (336x280) Pixel.
2. Medium rectangle (300x250) Pixel.
3. Square (250X250) Pixel.
4. Small square (200X200) Pixel.
5. Small Rectangular (180X150) Pixel.
6. Button (125X125) Pixel.

Link Ad Unit Available Size:
1. Automatic size responsive links.
2. Horizontal large (728X15) Pixel
3. Horizontal medium (468X15) Pixel.
4. Vertical X-Large (200X90) Pixel.
5. Vertical large (180X90) Pixel.
6. Vertical medium (160X90) Pixel
7. Vertical small (120X90) Pixel.

Follow this step to create your first Adsense ad unit:

1. Click on My Ads tab.
2. Click on Content from the left side.
3. Click on Ad Units.
4. Click on “+ New ad unit” to create a new ad unit.

1. Type a name to remember the ad configuration or to monitor ad performance.
2. Choose ad size from the drop down menu. The default recommended.
3. No 3. showing ad unit size and geometrical shape of your selected ad unit category.
4. Choose what type of ad unit want to display on your website. The default is “Text and Display”.
5. Customize according to your need or leave it to Google Adsense default.
6. Click on “Save and Get Code”. Copy the code to use on your website.
7. Paste copied ad unit code wherever you want to display your ad.



How to create link ad unit:

1. Click on My Ads tab.
2. Click on Content from the left side.
3. Click on Ad Units.
4. Click on “+ New ad unit” to create a new ad unit.

1. Type a name to remember the ad configuration or to monitor ad performance.
2. Choose “Link Ads” from the drop down menu.
3. No 3. Showing link ads unit size and geometrical shape of your selected ad unit category.
4. You do not have any more option rather than “links ad only”.
5. Customize according to your need or leave it to Google Adsense default.
6. Click on “Save and Get Code”. Copy the code to use on your website.
7. Paste copied ad unit code wherever you want to display your ad.

How to add a custom search engine for Adsense?

1. 1. Click on My Ads tab.
2. Click on Custom search engine from the left side.
3. Click on “+ New custom search engine” to create a new custom search engine.
4. Give a name of your new custom search engine and customize as per your need.
5. Click “Save and get code” to get the code for the custom search engine.
6. Copy and paste onto your website where you want to display your created custom search engine.

How to create page level ad unit onto your blog or website?

1. Click on My Ads tab.
2. Click on Page-level ads from the left side.
3. Click on toggle button to turn on the page-level ads.
4. Click on “<> Get code” to get the page-level ads code.
5. Copy the page-level ads code.
6. Paste the ad code below the <head> tag or top of the <body> of your page.
